Shree Anant Nityanandeshwar
Anant Chaturdashi is a very pious day as it is dedicated to the Endless One, the Eternal One, the Supreme Consciousness, and the Universal Self! The significance of this day and Anant Vrat has been described by Shree Narshima Saraswati in Guru Charitra in the 42nd Chapter. Here Shree Mahavishnu, Shree Shesha Naga, and Shree Yamuna are worshipped. It is 14 th day of the month of Bhadrapad. Everything that is offered to Him is in number of 14. Indirectly, Shree Guru described how to worship Him on this day as He is the Seamless and Ceaseless One with That One!!!
Bhagvan Nityananda too described the ceremony to Shree Murdeshwar Mama of Ankola, Karnataka when he had made a set of statues with Bhagvan Nityananda depicted as Lord Ananta resting on Shree Sehsha Naga in the Seshsayana pose of Shree Anant Padmanabha. He placed both the statues in front of Baba and that triggered Baba to speak on Ananta and the nature of worship. To this day, the family of Shree Murdeshwar Mama holds this pooja at Ganeshpuri. As far as I know, one statue is in Ankola, and one is in the Ganeshpuri Museum. It must be still there.
