The Mother:
23 June 1971:

On this day, my beloved mother, Sunita Shenoy, left her mortal body. Her life had been a sacred offering at the Feet of the Supreme, and her passing reflected the deep spiritual grace that had always surrounded her.

I recall vividly that evening of 8 August 1961 — the day Bhagavan Nityananda took Mahasamadhi. As the air grew still and sacredness thickened all around, she sang in deep devotion:
“O! God of gods, I bow to You again and again!
O! God of gods, I remember You again and again!”

These were not merely words; they were the outpourings of a soul who recognised the Eternal Presence beyond life and death.

Bhagavan’s grace has shone upon our family for five generations, an unbroken river of blessings. He abides with us as
• In the life-size picture, gifted by Him, that stands not as an image, but as a Living Presence.

• In the form of Lord Krishna, through the sacred sandalwood statue, an embodiment of sweet divinity.

• In the golden Saguna Paduka, the Suvarna Paduka — simultaneously the Form and the Formless One — reminds us of the Infinite grounding itself in the tangible for our sakes.

• In the Navnath Sampradaya lineage, through the Shree Satya Guru Prakash  – Samadhi at Vajreshwari, representing the merged essence of Machendranath and Gorakshanath, ensuring the yogic current remains alive.

• In the devotional songs, the bhajans of Tulas Amma, where the soul’s yearning and fulfilment are expressed in purest Bhakti.

• As the essence of the Bhagavad Gita, silently guiding our thoughts and actions toward Dharma and surrender.

• As the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya, revealed afresh through the Chidakasha Geeta, unite the highest Vedanta with living experience.

He came as a promise — the eternal companion of the soul.

He is Lord Krishna manifest as Nityananda — the Endless One, Ananta.

He is the shining presence of Supreme ConsciousnessShiva, the Eternal One, Amarnath — ever-present, ever-compassionate.

As Mother, Mauli, full of Love, Compassion

As our very reflection of oneness

As our shelter, the ultimate saviour

Today, as I remember my mother, I also remember the vast, invisible thread that connects her life, our family, and all of us to That Timeless One, in whom there is no death, only Endless Being.
