The Pose:
In His early days, He behaved more like an Avadhuta, child. One could cajole Him to do things but at the same time, He often did the contrary. For example, my grandmother used to give Him a through bath, dry Him, and dress Him. But He immediately used to go and smear Himself with ashes from the kitchen.
Often devotees took Him to the studio and photographed Him. Sometimes He agreed and posed or sometimes ran away. There were few photos taken during those days which were striking. One below is among them. My father had most of them. There is one more like this where He holding His fist in a mudra.
