Three memorable events in my life
January 22, 2024 — Six Years Ago, This Happened…
Ganeshpuri:
On Monday, 22nd January 2018, a deeply significant event took place — the unveiling of Bhagavan Nityananda’s Moorti after the removal of the gold covering. The decision to restore Bhagavan’s natural form was widely welcomed. His radiant darshan, now unadorned, drew an immense crowd — so large, in fact, that entry had to be restricted. Devotees present spoke of an overwhelming surge of Shakti in the atmosphere.
I had the rare blessing of being there one day before the darshan was opened to the public. That night, I was privileged to offer Aarthi to Bhagavan on behalf of the Shenoy family. Accompanied by my cousins and my wife, we performed pooja in deep reverence. Although I could not attend the official ceremony the next day, the memory of that night remains etched in my heart — Bhagavan appeared resplendent, full of love and compassion. Even before the Punarpratisthapana was formally done, His presence was intensely alive, powerful, and deeply moving.
Exactly six years later, on 22nd January 2024, another momentous occasion unfolded — the Pranpratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, marking the return of the divine child to His rightful birthplace after centuries of waiting and struggle.
That very same day, in my own home, we installed a statue of Shree Swami Samartha. Coincidentally, it was also the first anniversary of Swamiji’s installation. Notably, Bhagavan Nityananda first came into our home three years ago on Vasant Panchami, a day now etched with spiritual grace for our family.
Thus, three profound milestones in my life all share a sacred date —
-
The installation of Bhagavan Nityananda’s Moorti in Ganeshpuri on 22nd January 2018,
-
The installation of Shree Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22nd January 2024, and
-
The installation of Shree Swami Samartha in my home on that very same day.
